CBE unveils EGP 60bn T-bills on Sunday

Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 60 billion through two offerings on Sunday, 14 January 2024.

The first tranche, which carries a 91-day maturity period until 16 April next year, was valued at EGP 40 billion.

The second offering stood at EGP 20 billion and will mature in 237 days on 15 October 2024, according to official data.
